The Garden Suite offers something different in South Lakeland, whether you want to walk, enjoy the scenery or just relax. With luxurious accommodation and a beautiful setting in the heart of the Lake district National park, you can be sure of a fantastic break. Set in its own self contained building surrounded by a beautiful garden, the Garden suite is tastefully decorated, and furnished to the highest standard. Visitors may also enjoy the private terrace which overlooks the garden, rolling fields and Cumbria Fells.
The Garden Suite is ideally situated in Newby Bridge at the foot of Lake Windermere, England's largest lake, from where you can easily visit the high fells and the popular destinations of Bowness, Ambleside and Windermere town. You are a short drive from the honeypot village of Hawkshead, the home of Beatrix Potter, and very close to Cartmel and the coast at Grange-over-Sands. You can enjoy the many shops, restaurants and activities on and around the lake and, of course, the fells and low level walks are second to none.
Guests are encouraged to relax in the wonderful, calm setting. Breakfast is served either in your room or outside on your terrace. Your butler's pantry will have complimentary wine, beer and water, and you will be greeted with a welcoming tray of china, tea and homemade cake. | "We have just spent a wonderful, amazing and most pampered small 3 day break at the Garden Suite and we would both highly recommend it without reservation.The room was incredible a fantastic bed, leather sofa and modern and spacious bath and shower facilities.Sky and a DVD player complimented the large flat screen TV. Both Geoff and Pam are amazingly warm, kind, genuine people and very professional and accommodating hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them.They are always in good spirits and we were even allowed to hold baby lambs which Yvonne and i will never forget.We were made to feel like family members and both Geoff and Pam are so knowledgeable of the area and allowed us to visit areas of the lakes and attractions that we did not know existed. We cannot wait to stay there again but for longer. Thank you both for a truly inspirational and memorable stay. We hope that BG continues with her recovery and that the Lamb with the bad foot is fully recovered now and that all new baby lambs are healthy.We both hope to see you again in the Summer time.
